SmithHönig, maker of maximalist home decor featuring original patterns has introduced its latest luxurious collection, Velvet Ikat Pillows. Both visually stunning and sumptuous, the pillows in the collection make a statement by themselves or amp up the design factor when layered with other patterned soft textiles.
Inspired by the time-honored ikat dyeing technique where dye penetrates unevenly and creates a blurred, hazy effect, the 18”x18” pillows in the collection feature a printed ikat design in double-sided, soft-sueded velvet with a concealed zipper. The pillows are available with or without a luxurious down-alternative vegan insert. All SmithHönig pillows are hand-sewn and made-to-order in the company’s Dalton, Ga. facility.

The Velvet Ikat Pillow Collection includes 12 patterns across a wide color spectrum: Blue and Green, Blue and White with Green Detail, Indigo Blue and White, Blue and White with Multicolored Striped Band, Green with Center Stripe, Lime Green and Magenta, Magenta and Lime Green Floral, Orange and Purple, Pink and Green, Light Pink with Yellow Stripe, Plum and Teal and Teal and Plum Abstract.
