Sherrill Furniture Company is announcing a charitable initiative during fall High Point Market, Oct. 26–30. The company will donate $200,000 or 5 percent of gross sales, whichever is greater, from all orders placed during the market at its showroom at 315 Fred Alexander Place.

Sherrill Furniture has already made donations and will be releasing funds through the end of October. These donations have benefited, and will continue to benefit, disaster relief efforts in Western North Carolina communities, according to a news release.

The donation is structured to provide critical support where it is most urgently needed, ensuring assistance is provided to meet high-priority needs, company officials said. Sherrill’s commitment comes in response to devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and the enormous challenges faced by these communities most impacted by the storm.

“Our roots are in these communities, our neighbors, our friends and our furniture family are here, and we want to help them in a meaningful way,” said Charles Sherrill, CEO and Owner of Sherrill Furniture Company. “Our people have always been the heart of this company, and we want them to know we are here for them — during the good times and the tough times. This donation is our way of saying, ‘We stand with you.’ We believe that by supporting local organizations directly, they can respond swiftly and efficiently to the most pressing needs on the ground.”

Sherrill Furniture is dedicated to making a positive impact not only through exceptional craftsmanship but also through meaningful contributions to the communities it calls home, a press release stated. The company invites customers and partners to join in this effort by participating with Sherrill in the fall High Point Market and supporting this vital cause.
