The Seattle Gift Show is set to return to the Washington State Convention Center from August 18-21 for its 80th year. Attendees can expect new exhibitors and resources and an expanded selection of eco-friendly and American-made products.

The show features products across sectors including general giftware, collectibles, decorative accessories, table top, home decor, souvenir, resort apparel and jewelry.

"For 80 years, the Seattle Gift Show has been the go-to resource for Pacific Northwest independent retailers seeking the latest in product trends that reflect the diverse tastes and eclectic styles of their customers," says Lisa Glosson, vice president, souvenir/gift division, Urban Expositions. "For summer, our focus has been on finding even more of those undiscovered artisans, emerging lines and new categories to add to our show floor - offering even more profit potential for our buyer base."

This year’s show will feature a special presentation from Independent We Stand, an organization that promotes independently owned business and buying local. Co-founder Bill Brunelle will speak on the benefits of the “buy local” movement and offer tips for how to build a local brand.

The Seattle Gift Show temporary exhibits will come together with the permanent showrooms at the Seattle Mart to co-host Seattle Market Week from August 16-21. The Seattle Mart at 200 SW Michigan Street houses showrooms representing products from local manufacturers to national brands.

The Urban Craft Uprising Pavilion will return this year, showcasing the work of more than 30 artisans.

The Seattle Gift Show will run from 9 a.m.-5p.m. from August 18-20 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on August 21. For more information, visit www.seattlegiftshow.com.
