PORT 68 has partnered with the adventurous and colorful lifestyle brand Madcap Cottage for a licensed collection of lighting and home accents to debut at the upcoming October High Point Market.
Inspired by Madcap Cottage Co-Founders John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon’s travels, vintage finds and passion for prints and patterns, the Madcap Cottage for PORT 68 Collection looks to history while moving the needle ever forward. The debut collection delivers 60+ SKUs of lighting, decor and accent upholstery that pair a spirit of sophistication with a nod to timeless fun and a retail storyline. Design standouts include colorful porcelain embellished with signature patterns, a whimsically detailed “pagoda” chandelier, and a mix-and-match patterned designer shade program. Other branded elements include tassels that embellish accent furnishings such as a hand-applied gold-leafed metal upholstered bench and serving bar.

PORT 68 is premiering the collection October 12 during High Point Market. The showroom is located in IHF InterHall 307. The Madcap Cottage for PORT 68 launch will be celebrated with a festive cocktail reception on Saturday, October 13 from 3pm-5pm. Additionally, PORT 68 will host a book signing for Jason Oliver Nixon and John Loecke’s must-have design how-to, “Prints Charming: Create Absolutely Beautiful Interiors with Prints & Patterns,” on Monday, October 15 from 10am-noon. Books will be available for purchase, and you can mix and mingle with the gents.
