Outdura, the upholstery fabric division of Sattler AG, has received the International Casual Furnishings Association's 2022 Industry Partner Award at the ICFA's Educational Conference at the Walt Disney World Swan in Orlando earlier this month.
The award is presented annually to a company or individual who has served on an ICFA board, council or committee and demonstrated a heightened level of participation in advancing the organization’s strategic plans and goals. Previous recipients include theMART, Sunbrella/Glen Raven and Richard Frinier Design Studio.
Outdura, the fifth-generation, family-owned company headquartered in Graz, Austria, has 145 years of history in the solution-dyed acrylic market. They specialize in manufacturing and marketing fabrics for outdoor furnishings along with awning, marine, transportation and industrial applications throughout the world. The U.S. arm of the company is headquartered in Hudson, NC, complete with personnel responsible for manufacturing, sales and marketing, corporate services and distribution/logistics.
Outdura has been recognized as the winner in the Fabrics category of ICFA’s Design Excellence competition in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.
In 2021, Teresa Buelin, Business Development and Marketing Manager for Outdura, was a member of the ICFA Board of Directors and served on the Executive Committee.
