Nourison Industries donated product to vignettes for Francis Interiors and Saudah Saleem Interiors at Housing Works’ 14th Annual Design on a Dime benefit in New York City. The benefit presented 68 one-of-a-kind vignettes curated by over 70 top interior designers on April 26-28th at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Guests had the opportunity to shop the vignettes filled with furniture, homewares, art and more.

Francis Interiors “Memoirs of a Gay-sha” vignette featured the abstract Silk Shadows rug (SHA10Sterling) with shimmering highlights and contrasting icy shades of silver, kathy ireland Home Malta rug with a traditional bordered delicate leaf and vine design (MAl01 Navy), and Calvin Klein Home Lunar rug (LUN1 Klein Blue) detailed with a luminescent radiance and velvet-like texture. A Signature Hardware stainless steel tub was filled with Mina Victory velvet, felt, beaded and shag pillows. Mina Victory laser cut leather pillows and faux fur and cotton throws also accented the space.

“My inspiration for this year’s theme is a wonderful custom print paper from Phillip Jeffries called 'Blossom,’ which always takes me to Japan, and the ultimate geisha of all times, Kim Chi of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8,” says Francis Toumbakaris of Francis Interiors.

Saudah Saleem Interiors featured the Karma rug (KRM01 Blue) with special tonal treatments that give an heirloom-like appearance and Mina Victory Couture metallic laser-embossed hair-on-hide
rug (BR100) in Beige Gold. Saudah Saleem’s vignette was inspired by color, culture and a touch of glam.

“The space featured bold eclectic design, styled in layers, filled with eye-catching saturated jewel tones, silks, velvets and metallic finishes. Layering rugs is such a great way to add color, texture and dimension in a space,” says Saleem.
