The National Lighting Bureau is extending submissions for this year's NLB Art and Science of Lighting Awards. Products to submit are introductions from 2022 or the beginning of 2023 that represent significant advancements in the art or science of lighting. Eligible products include luminaires, sources, controls, drivers, and other lighting system accessories. Only lighting designers and specifiers may submit products of OEMs and manufacturers. The submission deadline is April 4th, 2023 and the fill form is available on www.NLB.org.
Awards will be announced at LightFair May 21-25, 2023 in New York City. Award winners are determined by a panel of judges selected for this program.
Only lighting specifiers and lighting designers can nominate products for these awards! Your inputs into acknowledging and promoting impactful product designs are essential for the success of our industry.
The Science of Lighting Award — a lighting product that demonstrates exceptional technical innovation; significantly improves how effectively and efficiently high-quality lighting can be specified and installed; may introduce new applications to high-quality lighting opportunities.
The Art of Lighting Award - a lighting product that exhibits an innovative lighting configuration that has aesthetic appeal or provides refreshing new forms for more conventional luminaires.
Or perhaps you are nominating a product that should be recognized as advancing both the Art and Science of Lighting.
Nominations are due by April 4, 2023.
Nomination forms are found on the NLB website. Click on Art & Science of Lighting on the header, and then click on 2023 Art & Science of Lighting - Submit here.
