Tina Nicole of Nathan Anthony Furniture earned a fifth International Design and Architecture Award (IDAA) this month, for her AERIE occasional chair design.

Tina Nicole, principal designer and co-founder at Los Angeles-based Nathan Anthony Furniture, has earned a fifth International Design and Architecture Award (IDAA), for Nathan Anthony’s AERIE occasional chair.

The competition is organized by design et al, a leading U.K.-based publication reporting on the global design industry, which began issuing the annual IDAA awards in 2011. Nominees receive votes from industry professionals as well as the magazine’s readers. The competition tallies winning selections from over 100,000 votes.

Earlier this year, Nicole was named to the The World’s Leading Design Names for 2018, a prestigious design recognition issued by design et al, and was profiled in a special issue of the magazine. The World’s Leading Design Names list was started in 2015 to recognize top talents in the areas of product and interior design.

For the October High Point Market, Nathan Anthony has earned a prime spot in InterHall, space IH-102, to showcase the designer’s signature upholstered seating products.

Nicole will additionally participate in a panel discussion entitled “Designing Women of the World” on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. in the Suites at Market Square seminar room, SAMS T-1014.
