American Eco-Living’s outdoor furnishings brand, Murcano, will bring a wide range of collections with competitive pre-tariff and post-high ocean freight pricing to Casual Market Atlanta, September 16-19, according to a news release.
Murcano will showcase collections designed for independent store programs in its new 5,700-square-foot AmericasMart showroom in Building 1, Showroom 6C6.
With the May tariff increase to 25 percent for aluminum and steel goods from China, pricing has once again become a hindrance for some retailers, company officials said. But with a global network of factories and sources, American Eco-Living is able to provide quality eco-focused products that are tariff-friendly.
“We have product available in our South Carolina distribution center that offers post-high ocean freight rates and pre-301-tariff increases, as well as wood, woven and high-density HDPE collections,” said John Ridgeway, CEO, North America, American Eco-Living.
American Eco-Living also has operations in Indonesia specializing in teak and woven products, as well as operations in Vietnam focused on acacia wood and weaving.
Murcano’s line includes a full range of outdoor seating, dining and accent pieces in teak, aluminum, acacia and premium high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with woven, sling and cushioned options. Seating groups include the Salon modular eight-piece chat set, featuring a sleek, modern design of solid Grade A teak with upholstered cushions.
Other seating options include the Cassara chat set in solid Grade A teak with plush weather-resistant fabric cushions and rope-weave back, and the eco-friendly Eastlake chat set in premium HDPE with a two-toned gray and hand-brushed teak finish and weather-resistant fabric cushions.
In dining, the Riverdale seven-piece dining set is made of solid teak with 5 mm-diameter rope weave on chair backs and weather-resistant seat cushions. And the Modena three-piece bar set in powder-coated aluminum boasts rope-weave bar stools that are UV-resistant for up to 3,000 hours.
The Murcano line is on display during the Atlanta Fall Market in Showroom 6C6 Building 1, September 16–19.
