To step a fresh foot into the new season, Catherine and Justine Macfee pick Sherwin-Williams’ Mountain Stream to “teal” the deal this spring.
“Teal is on our mind at the Catherine Macfee design studio for spring. It’s such a great color to combine with all of the warm neutrals we use in our retreat home design. Sherwin-Williams’ ‘Mountain Stream’ is the perfect not-too-blue, not-too-green teal color. It’s soothing yet energizing. The name is great as well — this past winter was so harsh in the Lake Tahoe mountains, we’re excited about the spring snow melt!”

Blue will always top the charts. This navy shade, Sherwin-Williams’ Adriatic Sea, is Geyer’s must-have color for the season.
"I love Adriatic Sea from the Unbounded color story in the 2017 color forecast. The rich blue is reminiscent of the deep ocean waters. It’s calming and expressive and has enough vibrancy to breathe new life into a room. I could easily use it on a furniture piece, but also love the coziness it would bring into a space if it were painted on all of the walls. It’s one of those colors that just makes you feel good.”

Foley’s spring color pick, Sherwin-Williams’ Hazel, is a green-gray blend that works perfectly as a neutral but can also stand on its own.
“Had enough of blue? Weary of green? Then ‘Hazel’ is the answer! It has the perfect amounts of blue, green and gray for a home. The chalky cast of the color is soft and ethereal but still colorful, and it goes with every shade of gray under the retail-sun you are buying today.”
