Start your New Year 2020 with the intention of getting some love this summer at the 11th Annual Showroom of the Year Awards. All you have to do is enter!
Let the lighting industry and your peers know exactly what you've been doing to elevate your lighting showroom profile this year, whether that's new merchandising, more marketing or a new website. And that's just the beginning. Retail is all about experience so let us know what you're doing to make that customer experience unique and exciting, and have the opportunity to get press and honors for your hard work and ingenuity. The details and how to enter
The Showroom of the Year Awards honor independent lighting retailers in North America and is presented by Furniture, Lighting & Decor and the Dallas Market Center, which hosts Lightovation twice a year in January and June.
During the summer Lightovation, which runs June 24-27, 2020, Showroom of the Year winners will be named in each of three dollar-volume categories:
- Annual revenue under $2 million
- Revenue under $5 million
- Revenue $5 million and ove
The winners are chosen from a field of five finalists in each category.
Winners will also be designated in three specialty award categories:
- Outstanding Merchandising Display
- Exceptional Community Involvement
- Social Media Star
All finalists are eligible for the Specialty Awards.
Include high-resolution photos (4x6, 300 dpi at a minimum — we recommend sending at least 5 images) and lots of details about your showroom and what you're doing that makes you unique!
When to enter
The deadline for entries and nominations is February 28, 2020. Just click on the Enter and Nominate links right here to get to the entry forms.
Finalists will be announced in the May issue of Furniture, Lighting & Decor, and a panel of independent judges will then evaluate these finalists and select the winners. All awards will be presented at a Lightovation opening-night reception on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.
