The 2017 issue of Lighting magazine is set to hit newsstands and showrooms throughout the U.S. and Canada this April.
Now in its 11th year, the publication produced by the ALA BiNational Advertising and PR Program in partnership with Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Media has made some updates to its design and content.
"We all know the right lighting transforms a room," said Karman Hotchkiss, editor of Lighting magazine. "We are celebrating that this year with transformations to the magazine too. The cover is rich and sophisticated and complements the upgrades we have made to the physical product - more pages, plus stunning high-quality paper stock."
The issue will have heavier, crisper paper to extend the magazine's shelf life and it will be whiter to make images stand out even more on the page. As for the content, the issue will continue to have helpful teaching tools, tips and charts.
New this year is a supplemental planning guide developed by the ALA BiNational Advertising and PR Program and Bravo Business Media. The guide will come with the magazine and be available to showroom members as a more technical sales tool.
"I know we say every issue is better than the previous year's," Hotchkiss said. "But this year, I think it's a difference people will see and feel as soon as they touch the product."
