LIGHTFAIR International (LFI), the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, will produce its 2020 event in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center, according to Bob Maricich, Chief Executive Officer of LFI managing partner International Market Centers. LIGHTFAIR has additionally committed to a 2021 return to Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where LFI 2019 opens on May 19.
Staged alternately on the U.S. East and West Coasts, LFI returns to Las Vegas in 2020 following its 2014 Convention Center showing, which set new West Coast occupancy and attendance records.
“LIGHTFAIR and Las Vegas are natural partners with a strong performance history setting the stage for our 2020 return,” noted Maricich. “Across every measure, LFI customers consistently name Las Vegas as their preferred West Coast venue. The 2020 trade show and conference will answer that call with all the innovations, experiences and resonance the lighting and design industry has come to expect,” Maricich added.
LIGHTFAIR International brings the industry’s newest and most advanced products and technologies to a global attendee population of lighting designers, specifiers, architects, consultants and engineers from around the world. Throughout the trade show floor, exhibitors showcase exclusive introductions and a large spectrum of solutions such as LEDs, OLEDs, luminaires, energy-efficient products, alternative energy, solar power, decorative, controls, software, digital signage, healthcare and hospitality. LIGHTFAIR also features six pavilions: Design; Exterior Roadway & Lighting; Global Light + Design; Intelligent Lighting; IoT; and New Exhibitor.
For LIGHTFAIR International 2019, the Pre-Conference program will take place in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Sunday, May 19 – Monday, May 20 and the LFI Trade Show and Conference will run Tuesday, May 21 – Thursday, May 23.
