Registration for LIGHTFAIR International 2017 is now open. The annual event will be held in Philadelphia where guests can attend both the pre-conference (May 7-8) and the trade show and conference (May 9-11).
Each year, market goers from around the world come to LIGHTFAIR to see the latest innovations in lighting and technology. Though the trade show mainly focuses on commercial and architectural lighting, residential manufacturers, showrooms and designers are also welcome. More than 500 exhibitors will be present, and there will be two new pavilions to explore: the Intelligent Lighting Pavilion and IoT (Internet of Things) Pavilion.
During the five-day conference, market goers will be able to take part in over 70 courses. More than 140 speakers will be there, which totals more than 190 hours of accreditation. All courses include free admission to the LIGHTFAIR Exhibit Hall.
Last year, LIGHTFAIR International 2016 set new trade show floor and west-coast attendance records during its five-day run in San Diego, April 24-28, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., vice chairman, president and chief operating officer of LFI managing partner AmericasMart® Atlanta.
“The convergence of light and technology marked every dimension of LFI 2016 with new product introductions, new design concepts and new connectivity setting clear direction for the way forward,” adds Portman. “We expect our 2016 event to have transformative impact on the world of lighting design now and for years to come,” Portman notes.
This year's show promises to be just as educational and exciting. To register, head to www.lightfair.com.
