Lightfair International announced the winners of the 2017 LFI Innovation Awards and Best Booth Awards Wednesday. The awards presentation was held on May 9 at the Philadelphia Convention Center, where the 28th annual Lightfair International trade show will continue through May 11.
The LFI Innovation Awards honoring the most innovative products and designs from the past 12 months saw 255 entries spanning 14 categories. The 18 winners include:
- -Vode Lighting, LLC won the Most Innovative Product of the Year Award for its ZipThree 707 Wall Mount.
- -Tech Lighting won the Design Excellence Award recognizing its ELEMENT Reflections collection.
- -SoraaLaser won the Technical Innovation Award for its LaserLight SMD.
- -ams won the Judges Citation award for its AS7221 smart lighting manager.
- -Lutron Electronics won in the Control and Distribution Systems, Connectivity and Analytics category for its myRoom Vue product.
- -Soraa, Inc. won in the Lamps: Conventional, Retrofit and Replacement category for its Helia Healthy Light Environment.
- -XAL Inc. won in the Indoor Decorative, Task Lights, Track, Display Undercabinet and Shelf category for its NOD luminaire.
- -Tech Lighting won in the Sports, Step, Landscape, Pool & Fountain Luminaires category for its Mode Outdoor Path/Flood Light.
