Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries’ sole charitable organization, announced today a new cause marketing partnership with Laura Janelle. Beginning at the winter 2019 edition of the Atlanta International Gift & Home Market, proceeds from the sale of the company’s Mantra scarf will benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.
Intended to provide inspiration and confidence to the wearer, Laura Janelle’s Mantra scarves incorporate a graphic – in this case the words “faith, hope and love” and a red ribbon symbolizing the fight against HIV/AIDS – into the design in such a way that only the person wearing the scarf knows what it says. Details are available online at www.laurajanelle.com.
“We are thrilled to partner with Gift for Life to offer a product that supports the fight against HIV/AIDS,” said Sarah Revella, Sales Manager for Laura Janelle. “Not only is this scarf a beautiful fashion accessory, it also sends a positive message of motivation and empowerment.”
George Kacic, Gift for Life Chair, added, “We are grateful to Laura Janelle for its cause marketing partnership during the 2019 tradeshow season and hope that others will be inspired to participate in the same way. Gift for Life’s Cause Marketing program is an easy, and effective way for gift, stationery and home decor suppliers to support our efforts to unite the industry against HIV/AIDS.”
Gift for Life’s Cause Marketing program has raised more than $126,000 for DIFFA over the last 10 years. Cause marketing partners have included Archipelago Botanicals, Chavez for Charity, Global Views, Kurt S. Adler, Inc. and UMBRA, among others. Each year, Gift for Life hosts events throughout the U.S. benefitting DIFFA. The primary mission of Gift for Life and DIFFA is to raise funds and awareness to fight HIV/AIDS. With Gift for Life’s help, in 2018 DIFFA National granted $285,000 to 26 organizations providing HIV/AIDS service and education programs nationwide.
