Kuzco Lighting today announced a major showroom expansion and relocation at Dallas Market Center, a new logo and rebrand and the launch of a new partner brand.
The expansion and relocation will take place in time for the next edition of Lightovation, Jan. 16-20, 2019. Kuzco will move into Trade Mart 4010 and will more than quadruple its showroom presence in Dallas. The 24,000 square foot new showroom will feature a continuing emphasis on its original design in both trend-setting aesthetic appearance and functional usage. This investment into expanded showroom space in the Trade Mart also signals a commitment to the brick-and-mortar showroom industry and partnership for the growth of that channel.
“We congratulate Kuzco Lighting, and we are pleased to support their impressive momentum,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “This investment is a testimony to their leadership in the modern contemporary space and also to Dallas Market Center’s continuing dominance as the largest residential lighting marketplace in North America. The scale and depth of Kuzco Lighting’s commitment is matched by products that are innovative, stylish and offer quality craftsmanship.”
In addition, Kuzco Lighting unveiled a new logo and rebrand, representing the direction of the company and highlighting its modern, sleek and minimalist designs.
Finally, Kuzco Lighting is announcing a brand debut at January Lightovation: Alora Lighting will launch in Trade Mart 4402, an 8,000 square foot showroom adjacent to Kuzco Lighting. With an aesthetic emphasizing Kuzco President Nathan Yang’s vision of elegant and classical design elements, Alora will stand in contrast to the contemporary minimalism that has already been successful for Kuzco. Alora is an opportunity for Yang to bring to the market a line of classic and transitional lighting fixtures that exude quality craftsmanship and design elegance. Its January debut will be celebrated with a grand opening and product launch event on Jan. 16. Details will follow.
“We are excited about the expansion and growth of Kuzco Lighting, as well as the introduction of our new brand Alora,” Yang said. “Our new showroom will allow us to showcase our products in support of our loyal retailers that enabled this growth. This move represents our continued commitment to serve the growing showroom business with more products to serve their needs. We know the brick-and-mortar industry will be thrilled in our investment to better serve our customers.”
To support Alora’s debut, Tammy Gran has been named Director of Sales and Operations. Gran brings almost three decades of lighting experience to Alora, including lighting showroom sales and management, lighting design and layout as well as various sales and operations background on the manufacturing level. Gran’s versatile sales and industry experience will be a key asset in building relationships and she looks forward to utilizing her versatile skill set to grow the team at Alora Lighting.
“I am thankful for this amazing opportunity, and I look forward to being part of the Alora team that will build the brand into an industry leader,” Gran said. “Please make sure to join us at our brand reveal and product launch in January.”
