Fabuwood, a leading semi-custom cabinetry company committed to delivering ‘forever-home’ quality, is proud to announce its appointment of celebrated designer, lifestyle expert and author Kerrie Kelly, FASID, NKBA as the brand’s new Creative Director.
This exciting collaboration marks a new chapter in the brand’s already thriving journey. In her role, the Sacramento, CA-based designer will play a pivotal part in shaping Fabuwood’s creative brand narrative – collaborating closely on product design and innovation, creative campaigns, and elevating its presence across the industry through trade shows, events and more. Her support will span the full Fabuwood portfolio, including its newly-acquired Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry brand.
“We’re equally thrilled and honored to have industry luminary Kerrie Kelly onboard as our Creative Director,” said Joel Epstein, President and CEO of Fabuwood. “The strong synergy between us was clear from the very start: Like Fabuwood, Kerrie’s style is effortlessly elevated, yet approachable. We’re confident her deep understanding of our business – and the business of the kitchen & bath industry as a whole – will take Fabuwood’s creative efforts to the next level. We look forward to seeing her build upon the foundation of what’s already been a very successful formula.”
Currently, Kelly is at the helm of reimagining the brands' KBIS 2025 presence through the design of deeply immersive and engaging booth experiences for both Fabuwood and Plain & Fancy — collectively showcasing over 15 immersive vignette displays from mudrooms and vanity spaces to luxurious kitchen installations.
“I’m beyond excited to join Fabuwood as Creative Director,” said Kelly. “Fabuwood already sets the bar with their high-quality cabinetry, and I can’t wait to bring my perspective to their evolving story. Together, we’ll create fresh, functional design solutions that transform how people experience everyday life at home.”
Partnering with the California-based designer – whose West Coast-inspired designs have made waves across the industry – strategically aligns with the Newark, New Jersey-based manufacturer’s larger goals to strengthen its foothold and market share in western markets of the United States. “Kerrie’s solid industry pulse on these markets, and her keen ability to recognize white space in the industry, has already proven incredibly valuable,” said Epstein. “The road ahead for Fabuwood is indeed an exciting one, and we’re thrilled to take it on through this new partnership.”
