Building on the ongoing success of its North American carpet division, artisanal soft flooring designer and manufacturer Kaleen is enhancing the product offering and operations of its broadloom business segment with several new developments.
The family owned and run company has shortened lead times for deliveries of all custom carpet orders to 10 days or less. Custom area rugs cut from broadloom carpet can run from about 16 feet wide to 80 feet long, and each piece is finished with serging – either by hand or machine, depending on the customer’s preference. The company will have custom specialists and displays at Surfaces to provide customers with more details.
Additionally, Kaleen has expanded its broadloom product portfolio with more than 30 new designs, available in multiple fresh palettes, in time for the Winter 2024 market season.
These new additions are being spotlighted at The International Surface Event (TISE): SURFACES at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from Jan. 23 to 25. Kaleen will be showing in Booth 2815 of the Exhibit Hall’s Wool Pavilion.
“We are excited to be returning to the Surfaces show, the industry’s exclusive flooring annual event,” said Monty Rathi, Chief Operating Officer, Kaleen. “And we’re especially excited to launch our newest broadloom products and initiatives. Our customers count on Kaleen broadloom and carpets for their wall-to-wall flooring needs because of our unique, artisan-crafted qualities, custom capabilities and expertise, and our versatile designs and colors that feel appropriate in on-trend and traditional spaces alike.”
Kaleen’s U.S.-based broadloom division is nearing its 10th anniversary. To meet growing demand from its mid- to high-end retail customers and designer partners, Kaleen has continually strengthened its infrastructure with new products and service offerings.
Kaleen's new broadloom collections include:
Home & Porch: Eight new designs handwoven of UV-treated polyester, and featuring sophisticated patterns for both high-traffic interiors and stylish living spaces outside.
Hook & Beam: 16 new designs made from a proprietary combination of hand-crafted and machine-made constructions in 100 percent wool.
Kaleen Broadloom: Five new designs handwoven of wool or a wool-viscose blend, and one-of-a-kind patterns.
Pure Life: Two new designs made of 100 percent wool and GOTS certified to ensure these products are free of harmful chemicals and use only organic dyes.
