It seems like an eternity ago already (how?), but the whirlwind winter market circuit does take a toll on you mentally and physically. However, I always come back home inspired, excited and oozing over with ideas. As I popped into showrooms and chatted with folks about their new classes of intros, I’m happy to say that I heard positivity in their statements, optimism in their voices and excitement in their future predictions. And, from formally introducing our new brand to all of you, plus hosting our Lighting & Decor Lounge in Atlanta on top of scoping out the latest trends, our winter market season was a home run as well.
Some of my favorite products from January shows represent a few of the through lines seen at markets this winter, including deep, gem-toned colors (thanks, Abbyson); structured, masculine detailing (love this Brian Patrick Flynn number); retro-inspired accents (tone-on-tone macrame is life); and head-turning outdoor products that look worthy of interior placement (Jaipur knocked it out of the park with this new rug intro), just to name a few.
