Industry-leading 3D technology provider Intiaro reports significant increases in engagement and traffic on retailer websites when they integrate with Intiaro’s 3D product visualizer and configurator platform.
With the foundation laid by furniture manufacturers who invest in the technology, their retailer partners who elect to integrate it can expect to see a lift in engagement and sales while positioning themselves to be more competitive in their online business.
A prime example of this is with Lexington, which Intiaro says may be its most successful retail integration to date. The brand invested in Intiaro’s 3D platform in 2019 and has rolled out the industry’s most advanced visualizer and configurator tools on 23 retailer websites, including any retailers using FurnitureDealer.net and MicroD platforms, among them a recent integration with Top 100 furniture retailer Baer’s.
“As the results begin to speak for themselves, retailers are becoming more willing and eager to take the reins and drive the innovation efforts,” said Michal Stachowski, Intiaro co-founder and chief commercial officer. “They are realizing that finding a budget for this tech has become imperative due to the tremendous potential for impacting their key metrics and bottom line.”
The technology success story is unfolding for Lexington and its dealers.
- From January 2023 to the same month 2024, visualizations at partnered retail websites rose an impressive 850 percent.
- In the following six months, it increased another 157 percent.
- During that same period, due to the scaling effect created by multiple retail integrations, there was a ten-fold increase in users configuring and visualizing Lexington products versus on the manufacturer site alone.
“When manufacturers integrate retailers with their configurators, there is a significant increase in visualizations compared to manufacturer websites alone, driving higher engagement and conversion rates that benefit both the retailer and the manufacturer,” Stachowski noted.
Intiaro has helped brands like Lexington increase their custom upholstery business at retail by adding significant technology value to their product line. Intiaro’s 3D configurators are designed to be easily integrated into any website platform, requiring only basic coding skills. It also provides white-label options and tear sheets that blend easily with existing brand identities for retailers and manufacturers looking for a turnkey solution.
“For retailers still hesitant about adopting 3D platforms, the learning curve is minimal, and support is readily available. The benefits far outweigh the challenges, offering a streamlined, customer-first approach that will elevate businesses to new heights,” added Stachowski.
