The Interior Design Society (IDS) is excited to announce enhancements made to their National Headquarters and Member Lounge to include state of the art Smart Home Technology. The IDS Headquarters is located on the top floor of the historic Radio Building in downtown High Point, center of Market on the corner of Main Street and Commerce Avenue.
Features include automated window coverings, sound control, and conference videoing capabilities. Materials were donated by Crestron, and installation was donated by Sights-N-Sounds, a home theater and technology design and installation business.
The IDS Member Lounge is a dedicated space within the IDS National Headquarters for IDS members to recharge, network with other members, and access exclusive business building tools, events and sessions. During High Point Market, the lounge features luggage drop, premium snacks and beverages, and a comfortable environment to refresh in.
During this October’s High Point Market, IDS will also be offering professional headshots, complimentary for all IDS members and $50 for non-members. A photographer will be on site on Sunday, October 23rd from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
The IDS Member Lounge is lovingly referred to as the “IDS Penthouse,” being that it is on the top floor of its building. The twice annual Penthouse Party will again be hosted this market, on Sunday, October 23rd at 4:00 pm, providing those an opportunity to network, connect with IDS friends, and check out the new technology.
