IDS is adding a member lounge to its High Point headquarters.

The Interior Design Society (IDS) is excited to announce the expansion of their National Headquarters to include a Member Lounge, opening on October 15 for High Point Market. IDS Headquarters is located on the top floor of the historic Radio Building in downtown High Point, center of Market on the corner of Main Street and Commerce Avenue.

The IDS Member Lounge is a dedicated space for IDS members to recharge, network with other members and access exclusive business building events and sessions. The lounge will feature valet luggage drop, premium snacks and beverages, and a comfortable environment to refresh in. Being a part of the IDS National Headquarters, the Member Lounge will be open year-round, with special events offered only during High Point Market.

During this October’s High Point Market, IDS will be offering professional headshots, a beauty bar, and individual business coaching – all complimentary for IDS members. In addition, two events will be held: a Sip-and-See on Saturday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m., and a Book Signing with business coach, speaker and author, Nancy Ganzekaufer on Monday, October 18 at 4:00 p.m. Sign ups  are limited and are available by visiting interiordesignsociety.org/memberlounge.

“The expansion of our national headquarters will allow us to offer even more benefits to our  members and the design community overall. It solidifies our commitment to our mission of helping our diverse members grow their businesses, develop their talents, inspire each other, and use our voices to impact our collective communities.” said Jenny Cano, IDS Executive Director. “The  lounge also showcases the work of IDS members, including Designer of the Year Award recipients.”

IDS is appreciative of its Member Lounge sponsors, which helped furnish the space: Phillips Collection, Norwalk Furniture, Jaipur Living, Currey & Company, Rowley, and Howard Elliott Collection.
