Furniture, Lighting & Decor sat down with High Point Market Authority President and CEO Tom Conley last week to talk about High Point Market, coronavirus and the efforts to ensure attendees are safe, comfortable and have the amenities needed for a successful market.
While High Point Market Authority has announced that in-person events through HPMA will be virtual, Suites at Market Square and Interhall exhibitors will be open. The market will go from October 13-21 to allow for social distancing efforts. Masks are required, buildings are being continually cleaned and the Market Authority is confident that measures being put in place will keep everyone attending safe.
HPMA is working with all of the buildings to enforce temperature scans, face masks and wrist bands to identify that attendees have been checked.
Shuttles will run from the hotels and airports, and a revised "around town" market shuttles will be available as well, with smaller vehicles designed to limit the number of people in each car.

We look forward to seeing everyone at High Point Market!
