The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) has partnered with James Swan, founder of the wildly popular Million Dollar Decorating podcast, to bring the “Market Buzz” podcast series to Fall Market, October 14 – 18, 2017.

Developed with the intent of offering attendees yet another digital channel through which they can receive timely market news, event updates and key market debuts, experiences and reports, this program will release three podcasts through the Million Dollar Decorating website and social media channels each day of market. Each podcast will be hosted and produced by James Swan and will last approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

“We are excited to team up again with James and bring his podcast series to Fall Market as a service for our attendees,” commented Tom Conley, President and CEO of HPMA. “We were the first trade show to partner with James by sponsoring a podcast in advance of Spring Market, and that was received really well by our followers and James’ listeners. This program is a natural next step for our partnership, especially as we continue to see the increased relevancy and usefulness of podcasts.”

Market Buzz podcasts will run in the morning and afternoon, followed by a thorough daily recap each evening. Each podcast will incorporate a mix of video and audio content and will be live-streamed and posted to www.milliondollardecorating.com, iTunes, SoundCloud, You Tube Live, Google Hangout and Facebook Live. Each will also be promoted on Million Dollar Decorating’s hugel -followed Twitter, Facebook and Instagram platforms as well as its very own Instagram channel, @market__buzz.

“It is an immense honor to be able to cover the largest home furnishings trade show in the world,” said Swan. “With so many debuts, must-attend events, celebrity appearances, showroom openings and more, I’m not quite sure how I’ll fit it all into 15 podcasts, but that’s a challenge I’m certainly open to embracing!”
