Country singer Trisha Yearwood and pop group Dirty Loops are set to hit the stage at the Stars Under the Stars event series at High Point Market this spring. The performances will take place on Saturday, April 22, and Sunday, April 23, at Center Stage.
Yearwood, a platinum-selling recording artist with multiple Grammys and Country Music Awards, will perform on Saturday. Her hits include her popular 1991 debut “She’s In Love With The Boy,” “Georgia Rain” and “Wrong Side of Memphis.” Yearwood is not only a talented country singer — she’s also a New York Times best-selling cookbook author. Through a partnership with High Point Market exhibitor Klaussner Home Furnishings, she has also created a home furnishings collection, as well as a collection of accessories with IMAX Worldwide Home.
Dirty Loops will bring their infectious music to Center Stage on Sunday. The Swedish group has garnered a strong online following, with more than 19 million views on its YouTube videos. Audiences at High Point can expect catchy covers of today’s hits at the show.
Doors for each performance open at 7 p.m. with shows starting at 7:30 p.m. Free food and beverages will be served. Center Stage is located between the Transportation Terminal and Showplace. For more details, visit www.highpointmarket.org/event/stars-under-the-stars.
