Dorel Home, a segment of Dorel Industries Inc., is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first licensing partnership—The Novogratz—with an exclusive, limited-edition collection at the Fall High Point Market, with colorful updates to the most sought-after products.
“To say we’ve enjoyed great success throughout this decade-long partnership is a bit of an understatement,” said Dorel Home Vice President of Global Brand Partnerships Claudia Grundman. “The Novogratz team is truly a dream partner, and we credit a lot of the success in achieving this major milestone to the fact that Cortney and Bob are involved in every aspect of the business from product development to sales and marketing. They represent our most successful licensing partnership ever and we couldn’t ask for better.”
Robert and Cortney Novogratz, known collectively as The Novogratz, are a husband-and-wife design team based in New York City and Los Angeles. They have been designing residences, boutique hotels, pop-ups and more for more than 25 years, and gained fame alongside their family as the stars of Bravo’s 9 by Design and HGTV’s Home by Novogratz. The authors of a number of best-selling design books are also the creative force behind Dorel Home’s licensed The Novogratz Collection, which in the ten years since its launch has grown to include furniture pieces for every room of the home, as well as the outdoors.
With more than 900 products under its umbrella, the brand has steadily grown in popularity across North America and is now expanding into the European market. In celebration, Dorel and The Novogratz are introducing limited-edition extensions of The Novogratz Collection inspired by The Novogratz’ Waverly Place home. Like their home, which is notable for splashes of stand-out color, the new products pop with bold takes on magenta (the color the year!) and trend-right mustard yellow. Indeed, the new Waverly Fireplace, controlled by remote or touch screen, was drawn directly from the designers’ living space.
Other new products set for display at the Fall High Point Market (Oct. 14-18), include the Bushwick Metal Bed, a fashion-forward, height-adjustable spindle bed available in pink or lavender, and the Cache Lockers, a stylish storage solution in eye-catching magenta. All of these new items and more will be displayed in Dorel’s High Point showroom inside the Commerce & Design Building, in showrooms 8N and 9A.
“Time truly flies when you’re having fun, and nowhere is this sentiment more evident than in our remarkable 10-year partnership with Dorel Home. It all started with two futons and a single metal bed, and it has since grown into a significant success with the realm of furniture design, boasting an impressive collection of over 900 skus. This achievement stands as a testament to the power of teamwork, and a big thanks goes to the remarkable CEO of Dorel, Norman Braunstein, for his leadership. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each team member from DHP, Ameriwood, and Cosco who have been integral to our success over the past 10 years. Their dedication, hard work, and collaboration have played an indispensable role in bringing us to this milestone. We look forward to many more years of continued success and partnership,” said Bob and Cortney Novogratz.
