Diane Falvey, a gift, home, housewares and gourmet industry veteran, has joined Dallas Market Center (DMC) as the Editor-in-Chief of DMC Media.
Falvey will be responsible for editorial content for DMC owned media that includes magazines, directories and digital media.
“Diane’s editorial experience, industry knowledge and passion for product will serve her extremely well,” says Greg Joselove, Vice President of DMC Media. “She joins an expanding team intent on creating enhanced methods for exhibitors to connect with more buyers. We have already begun exploring and creating new opportunities.”
This new position is part of a strategic plan to enhance and improve marketing opportunities for exhibitors while also engaging creatively with the 200,000 customers who visit DMC throughout the year.
Mobile apps, social media, web advertising, digital signage and video present new opportunities to connect with customers and Falvey will also contribute to identifying and creating content for these channels.
Falvey will report to Joselove.
