The Design Bloggers Conference will now be known as the Design Influencers Conference. The new name will debut at the upcoming 2019 conference which will take place at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead from February 24-26. The new name for the conference more accurately reflects progressive marketing trends in the design industry. Heading into its eighth year, the Design Bloggers Conference, will now be known as the Design Influencers Conference.
“Just as blogging and all forms of online and offline content marketing has evolved over the past eight years," Adam Japko, conference founder and CEO of Esteem Media said, "so too has our conference. We are not announcing a new conference, just a more representative name. We decided it’s time our brand catches up with the conference’s actual programming, that has driven consistent year-over-year attendee and sponsor growth. We have been covering everything from all angles of digital marketing to book publishing and licensing, and while the range of content will continue to adapt as it always has, the centerpiece of the conference experience remains unmatched. Through industry networking, brands and influencers connect face to face and beneficial relationships are born.”
The conference outlines how brands are drawn to influencers based on alignment of content approach plus size and engagement rates of their audiences. Ultimately, brands and influencers can cross-promote each other for less than traditional forms of advertising.
“Our conference teaches design professionals, who want to morph into the role of influencers, how to engage with brands and develop a comprehensive, strategic marketing plan in today’s hyper-competitive digital landscape.”
Attendees of the Design Influencers Conference will learn how to leverage a wide-range of essential elements in personal/business brand building, in order to maximize their digital marketing power. Digital marketing experts inside the design industry will provide practical takeaways on how to build an online audience; become or work with influencers; maximize personal branding; interact with traditional and new media editors and gatekeepers; develop web and email marketing campaigns; and more.
Design pros enter the conference from a variety of backgrounds ranging from absolutely no experience to fully established influencer status and leave empowered with the right tools to
pump even more authority and influence into their brands.
“Statistics have shown the key role to a successful blog can play in expanding one’s business,” adds Japko. “This conference helps design professionals and brands take their content marketing strategy to new levels of influence, becoming opinion front-runners and renown experts in the industry. It’s a must-attend for designers and brands of any size, or expertise level, who want to grow their business in today’s digital age.”
