Braxton Culler received Decorating Den’s Supplier of the Year award at the company’s 55th annual conference in Nashville, TN. Voted upon by Decorating Den’s franchisees, the award honors the supplier that consistently offers the best quality and customer service.
“While we highly value all of our suppliers, I was very happy that this year our designers overwhelmingly voted to recognize Braxton Culler with this well-deserved award,” said David Haseley, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing and Director of Design at Decorating Den. “The company continually updates and improves upon their styles and fabrics, and their customer service is second to none.”
Braxton Culler was one of the earliest furniture providers to Decorating Den, which started as a shop-at-home drapery company in 1969. Over the past three decades, the custom house has helped Decorating Den develop furniture into its largest category. Similarly, Decorating Den has helped Braxton Culler build a reputation as a major supplier catering to the needs of the interior design community.
“With some 250 franchisees across the country and in Canada, Decorating Den has been a valued partner of Braxton Culler for almost three decades,” said Donnie Lesley, Senior Vice President of Operations at Braxton Culler, “and the relationship only gets stronger with time, thanks to the dedication of sales representative Sharyn Moss and Katrinka Barnhart, head of Braxton Culler customer service, as well as our team of outstanding craftspeople.
“We are all grateful and incredibly energized by this recognition, and we are extremely proud of the care and attention to detail our entire team devotes to serving the needs of interior designers each and every day.”
Barnhart attributes the important recognition to the personal attention Braxton Culler pays to the needs of each individual designer. “Taking time to listen to the designers’ expectations and talking through the products and abilities before the sale is the key to our success,” she said. “Decorating Den’s designers know they can rely on Braxton Culler to get it right.”
The company participates in Decorating Den’s annual conference every year as a vendor, setting up a booth with the latest furniture, fabrics and sales aids. It typically focuses on displaying what was new at the Spring Market in High Point.
“Designers love color, and we have a lot of it,” Moss said. “At the most recent show in Nashville, I can’t tell you how many of the designers walked into our booth because we were a welcome pop of color among all the gray and beige.”
