This year’s deadline for the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD) 2024 Pinnacle Awards is quickly approaching. Professional and student product designers in the furnishings and textile industries are urged to enter their best product designs by Friday, July 26th. The 28th annual Pinnacle Awards are open to all furniture and textile designers, and manufacturers who are directly involved in designing home furnishings, décor, or textile products available for retail sale in the last year. Students who are currently enrolled in or graduated in the last year from an accredited furniture or industrial design program may enter the Student Pinnacle Awards. Winners will be announced at the annual Pinnacle Awards Gala held in High Point on Monday, October 28, 2024, during the fall Market.
“For this year’s Pinnacle Awards, we added a Finishings category to recognize important aspect of the professional design process and to honor the talented designers who excel in it,” stated David Blair, ISFD executive director. “We also updated the price points for Broad Appeal and Luxury Bedroom, Dining, Leather Upholstery and Stationary Upholstery to better reflect current pricing levels. I am excited to see the highly creative designs that are submitted for this year. These designs will be instrumental in determining the furniture and textile design trends of the future.”
