Dallas Market Center has announced that more than 40 companies totaling more than 150,000 square feet have recently leased new showrooms or renewed leases in advance of June 2022 trade events.
“Our lighting company partners have deepened their commitments and as an industry have indicated that Dallas will remain the dominant marketplace for lighting inspiration and commerce,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Likewise, our commitment to their success extends from trade events including Lightovation to unmatched daily business serving the design community to our partnerships with organizations such as the American Lighting Association and Lighting One.”
Companies recently extending their partnership with Dallas Market Center include Minka Group, Hinkley, Visual Comfort Group, Quoizel, Quorum/Oxygen, WAC, Schonbek, Arteriors, Hunter Fan Company, Fanimation, and more than twenty-five others. For the majority of these companies, Dallas is either their only wholesale showroom in North America or their flagship showroom location.
New companies added to the marketplace include LNC Home, Aptations, Acrosentec, Arnsbergerlicht, GE Lighting, Jach Lighting, Social Lighting, and Verozza Lighting.
“We are firmly and deeply committed to Dallas as our sole showroom for key reasons,” said Tim Flannery, Executive Vice President of Sales, Minka Group. “From one central location we can serve existing customers with the comprehensive Minka experience including products, inspiration, and education. We can also expand our reach to new customers in Dallas like no other marketplace. We all want to create more business and support customers but for our company when you carefully study the alternatives in Las Vegas and High Point there is just no comparison. Finally, we also value the partnership with the DMC team; we look forward to working together for many years to come.”
The next edition of Lightovation takes place June 22-25; the new dates for the winter 2023 edition of Lightovation are January 10-13.
