Dallas Market Center last week announced the details of Made, a new category in The Temps at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, January 17-23, 2018.

Market attendees will find one-of-a-kind, handmade items sourced locally and globally in the new section set for the 12th floor of the World Trade Center.

“This expanded product selection will create a whole new type of buying experience for our eager buyers,” said Kristina Johnson, Vice President of Trade Shows for Dallas Market Center. “The organization and central location of this category will provide a new sense of ease for our buyers when they are looking to source these types of products.”

The category will be located next to the new seminar space where presentations and events take place regularly during market.

“We continue to see a strong demand for one-of-a-kind items,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Our Temps are a highly anticipated part of Market, and we are adding even more value for our retailers to discover additional products their customers will love.”

To find more upcycled and one-of-a-kind products, buyers can visit Market Hall for cash & carry, furniture and vintage products that can be taken home the same day or via an order-writing process.

Additional new Temp sections will include Luxe Gift on the first floor of the Trade Mart; the Home & Design Temps on the sixth floor of the World Trade Center; Made, Gift, Gourmet and Holiday & Floral on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center; a special cause-related and charitable giving product section on the 12th floor of the World Trade Center; and a Women’s Apparel and Fashion Accessories section on the 13th floor of the World Trade Center.

The Temps will be open January 18-21, with Luxe Gift and Home & Design Temps opening January 17.
