Dallas Market Center Announces Lineup For January Markets

Dallas Market Center announces new and expanding exhibitors and robust buyer registrations.

The Total Home & Gift Market takes place January 5-11, 2022.

Dallas Market Center has announced a record number of new buyer registrations from across the country, setting the stage for the first market of the year — Total Home & Gift Market, January 5-11, 2022. More than 50 new and expanding permanent showrooms, additions to the Temps, special events and inspiration for retail decision makers will highlight the show. 

“We’re offering buyers the first chance to discover what’s trending, review new products, and place orders,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “It’s more important than ever for retailers to experience a market in person in order to source across categories and discover products that will set them apart. That’s why we’re delivering a show unmatched in inspiration and community this January.”

Pre-registration, which is the exclusive method to receive the FastPass for quick, contactless entry, is now available at dallasmarketcenter.com.

New Buyers, Returning International Buyers

New buyer applications are up more than 50 percent over previous years, with the strongest gains coming from buyers located in the Midwest and Southeast. January will also mark a return to Dallas market by international buyers from Canada, Mexico and across Latin America. To support new buyers arriving for the winter shows, the market center has a dedicated team of retail ambassadors. During the show, new buyers will be welcomed to market with special tours, a welcome desk and a buyers’ lounge. New buyers are encouraged to review market announcements, the website and to download the app for pre-market planning.

New and Expanding Showrooms 

Among more than 50 new and expanding permanent showrooms are legendary brands and trending companies in gift and home, housewares and gourmet, holiday, floral and lighting.

Among the highlights: 

New showrooms from Crestview Home (WTC 333); Elite Accessories Ltd. (TM 1448); The French Bee (TM 1725); Hester & Cook (TM 2503); Kendrick HOME (WTC 320); Modern Burlap (TM 1335); Novart (WTC 6650); Young’s Inc. (TM  1034); Daria Rugs and Antiques (WTC 6694); and Pacific Trading (TM 2218).

The Gallery (IHDC 1D202) hosts new companies including furniture and design studio Amatoya  (GL82-83). Ann Gish (GL16) is known for exquisitely detailed, finely made bed linens. Collective & Co. Home (GL28) adds pillows, décor, and more. Creative Threads (GL 76) bridges the gap between the West and East with draperies designed with Indian artistry. Outpost Original (GL32) presents luxurious décor and furniture. Timothy Poe Studio (GLW-3) is an Alabama artist of reflective painting who shows at Marburger Farms in Round Top. And Debra Steidel (GL86) has beautiful fine art porcelain pieces. Expanding in The Gallery is Cloud9 Design (GL92) with its beautiful textiles including Marina B.

Additional expanding showrooms include Avenue Lighting (TM 3521); Classic Home (WTC  530-520), Cliff Price & Co. (TM  1888), K&K Interiors (WTC 237), De Leon Collections (TM 1501), Fortune Silks (WTC  2F115), Gabby (WTC 154), Olivia Riegel (TM 2301.41), P A Home (WTC  523-525), and Porch View (WTC  280-2F446).
Relocated and expanded showrooms include Danny’s Fine Porcelain (IHDC 1D409), Foster’s Point (IHDC 1D101), and TAG (WTC 350).

Inside The 2301 Collection - Curated Gifts From Around the World debuts will include Bonnecaze Absinthe & Home (WTC 2301-13) with reproductions of uncommon antique objects from France. Heritage Lace (WTC 2301-35) is a premier manufacturer of textiles and high-end specialty products. And stress-reducing diffusers and fragrances from Serene House USA (TM 2301-21). 

Gourmet Market presents new tastes from Lisa’s Lemonade (WTC 180-A44) with naturally healthy lemonade and drink mixers. The Golden Whisk (WTC 180-A16) specializes in decorated cookies and yummy desserts. And Whiskey and Wine Design (WTC 180-A30) features artisan accent pieces made from wine barrels.

Expanding for January is NextGen Dallas (TM 1028 and 1030) welcoming Enesco back to Dallas Market Center inside their showroom. Enesco is the iconic giftware company with a portfolio of award-winning artists and products, including Jim Shore, Designs by Lolita, Department 56 Villages and Disney Traditions. Cathy & Co (TM 1600) expands and adds Adams Apple Co., Wabi Whiffs, and Christina’s Clean Creations.

Debuts inside showrooms include: Ivystone (WTC 236) has four lines expanding their footprints: Beatriz Ball, Consuela, Napa Home & Garden, and Karma/Stephen Joseph. Global Views (IHDC 1D209) proudly presents a new collection from Roger Thomas. Stylecraft (WTC 10074) debuts a substantial home furnishings collection from Dann Foley Lifestyle.

  • Jeffery Alan Marks debuts a new collection for Progress Lighting (TM 3840) 
  • Maxim Group (TM 3901/3905) undergoes an extensive remodel of their lighting showroom and welcomes a new collaboration with Nina Magon for Studio M
  • Kalco Lighting (TM 3303) introduces an exciting new collection with interior designer Vanessa De Leon.
  • Lighting leader Hinkley (TM 3210) celebrates its 100th anniversary 
  • Norwell Manufacturing Company (TM 3321) expands its interior and exterior lighting showroom.
  • Now a wholly owned subsidiary of WAC Lighting (TM 3101), Schonbek (TM 4926) kicks off an exciting new product debut as a leading brand for luxury design.
  • Taylors – Visual Comfort & Tech Lighting (IHDC 1D111) welcomes several new collections: surface design company Hable at Taylors, lighting designs from Avroko, Kelly Wearstler, Mick De Giulio, and Sean Lavin for Tech Lighting and Visual Comfort introduces lighting from designer Paloma Contreras. 
  • Expanding from Spectrum, Wind River Ceiling Fans (TM 4517) gets its own showroom for fans, light kits and controls.

  • The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market, January 5-8, will present hundreds of new and returning exhibitors. Buyers will explore a full marketplace of Temps with four distinct neighborhoods to discover hot new products and brands.  
  • World Trade Center 12: Gift; Bath, Body & Spa; Home & Home Decor Temps; Tee Shirts, plus a new section called Luxe on 12.
  • Trade Mart 1: Luxe Gift Temps
  • World Trade Center 13: Apparel, Fashion Accessories, and Footwear

LUXE on 12 is a carefully curated selection of high-end luxury gift, home and apparel including Summer Weatherly for apparel; Lord Jones for upscale CBD products; Stephen Wilson Studio for unique works of art; and Big Lovie’s plush, upscale inspirational blankets. Bath, body, and spa goods are now in an entirely reimagined destination on 12. Candles, soaps, diffusers and more abound from Pepper Street Studio; find plant-based skincare products from Butter & Me; Kimberly House showcases bath bombs, soaps, and more; and Greenwich Bay Trading Co. offers North Carolina-made soaps. Home and home décor Temps recently located to the 12th floor, along with numerous tee shirts, sweatshirts, caps, and more.

Apparel, fashion accessories and footwear Temps pack the 13th floor. Jewelry crafted of 100 percent recyclable metals from Aubrey Adele; bold earrings, necklaces, and handcrafted straw bags from Lisi Lerch; and delicately crafted pieces from Gresham. Snag bright-colored embroidered women’s apparel from J. Marie Collections; MIA Shoes has on-point footwear.

Find more LUXE items throughout the Trade Mart’s first floor, such as diffusers and scents from Hyascent; boutique silverware pouches from Cutlery Couture; wooden jigsaw puzzles crafted of artwork from Starz Puzzles; and acrylic game sets from Luxe Dominoes.

For a vast paradise of cash-and-carry goods, head to Market Hall. It now holds the largest collection of vintage and home décor items ever seen in Dallas in Main Hall, with brands ranging from In the Land of Elsewhere to Sono Inspired, Tin Can Gypsy, and Broke Jewels. North Hall, meanwhile, holds a staggering assortment of gift, jewelry, home, apparel, gourmet, and other items. Lines include Parker Creek Foods, Starla’s Boutique, Beverage Gear, and Dot Dot’s Unique Creations, as well as artisan brands like Mila + Stevie, Creative Brazil, Paris Station Estate Jewelry, and Stephens of Colorado.

The 32nd ARTS Awards

Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, announce the return of the ARTS Awards after a one-year staging of the HEARTS Awards honoring pandemic heroes. The 32nd ARTS Awards gala returns on Friday, January 7 at the Hilton Anatole hotel, hosted by Thom Filicia and Carson Kressley. The ARTS Awards is the premier international awards program dedicated to home industry excellence and achievement. The ARTS Awards will include category awards as well as a special Academy of Achievement honor for Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture, and a special HEARTS Award presented to The Malouf Foundation. The ARTS Awards Preview Party takes place on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Special Events and Hospitalities

Events across campus will offer food, drink and fun for attendees plus moments of inspiration from experts. A complete list of events is available via the website but highlights the following:

  • A Lighting and Home Trend Report with global trend ambassador Patti Carpenter, taking place in the SMART Center (TM 4826) on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
  • Dann Foley and Shayla Copas in conversation at Charles Ray & Associates on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
  • A launch party for Dann Foley Lifestyle at Stylecraft (WTC 10074) at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.


Enhanced Buyer Wi-Fi

Connectivity during markets is more important than ever and in support of online access, the buyer Wi-Fi system throughout DMC’s buildings will be dramatically updated before January 2022 Markets. These are state-of-the-art updates that will increase the speed, bandwidth, and number of access points by 4-5 times the current system.

Health & Safety Guidelines Supporting Buyer Comfort

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center continues measures that include recommending face coverings for all customers. Other efforts include enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products and hundreds of hand sanitizing stations. Along with these new steps, there are safety measures that are part of the design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to each floor, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.
