The Company Store, the home goods shop known for its quality bed linens, has stepped up to support those in need amid the coronavirus pandemic. The brand has donated over 9,000 units of a variety of their 100 percent cotton sheets to be sewn into face masks, to make over 400,000 masks. Each sheet can produce up to 77 masks.

The Company Store has teamed up with Project Runway alumni Amanda Perna, Pamela Barsky and Michael Costello, all of whom have started sewing masks for first responders. They’ve also donated to organizations sewing masks across the country such as TX N95, Quilting for a Cause, NJ Masks, Sewing Masks for Atlanta Hospitals, Sewers of Southwest Wisconsin and more.

In addition to creating face masks, The Company Store has donated over 900 units of supplies such as towels, sheets, comforters, blankets and slippers to hospital staff rooms to help support frontline workers in highly affected areas, including Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ.

The Company Store is also thinking of the homeless during these hard times and has donated over 200 units of pillows and bed linens to shelters in the tri-state area including The Bowery Mission and The Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter.

With giving back at the forefront of many consumer’s minds, The Company Store wants to continue to provide everyday comfort to those in need and hopes to set an example to promote an attitude toward social responsibility and care.
