Award-winning luxury home decor retailer Coco & Dash will collaborate with CUR8, Austin, TX-based innovator and design incubator, on a first-of-its kind design event and product collaboration. GR8FUL LIVING: DESIGN WITH A SOUL will launch September 13th, 2018, at the Coco & Dash store.
The week-long store-within-a-store design event will run, in part, during Dallas Market Center’s Dallas Design Week and introduce consumers to luxury products from home decor to fashion, providing them with an experience and understanding of how and why each piece was created. Most of the products to be featured are crafted by collectives dedicated to empowering women by providing a living wage, production skills and a healthy work environment. The unique product alternatives positively impact our planet, elevate communities and are focused solely on empowering others.

How you feel while you’re in a store and how you feel when you return home is becoming more and more important,” says Teddie Garrigan, Coco & Dash Co-owner and Co-Founder. “We are so excited to share these beautiful products and the stories behind them. Some of the sustainable luxury products featured will include: Exceptionally high-quality textiles made in the USA from recycled plastic bottles; luxury jewelry made from repurposed commercial remnants; brilliant vessels made from recycled newspapers and magazines; and cutting-edge fashion accessories from a Spanish jewelry and handbag maker who skillfully repurposes inner tubes, commercial banners, and over-dyed rice sacks into iconic statement pieces.
