Amer Rugs announced this week that Bret Baker is joining the company as its new National Sales Manager.
Baker will be responsible for leading the Amer sales force and furthering the growth of the company’s retail partnerships. He has been tasked with raising Amer’s presence within the furniture and home segments.
“I am truly excited to be joining Amer,” Baker said. “The chance to join such a focused high energy team is a great opportunity.”
He recently worked as the Vice President of Sales for Thomasville, Broyhill and Lane Brands. Previously, he was National Director of Sales for Russell Athletics and served in a similar capacity at Reebok International.
“Bret’s knowledge and experience of the furniture industry along with his background of success in sales management makes him a terrific addition to our team,” said Amer Rugs President Tanuj Gupta.
Baker will report to Joe Barkley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
