Dallas Market Center announced that Blue Ocean Traders, the wholesale vintage furniture and home décor importer, will increase the size of its Dallas showroom by 10,000 square feet to showcase its sister brand, Gypsy Market Place. The expanded, open-daily space on the fifth floor of the World Trade Center is set to debut during Dallas Design Week, September 17-21, 2018.
“Recognizing Dallas Market Center’s strong position as an open-daily marketplace, we are excited to bring our Gypsy Market Place to DMC,” said Kirsten Haynes, Director of Sales and Marketing at Blue Ocean Traders. “With fresh inventory arriving regularly at the newest branch of Gypsy Market Place, our one-of-a-kind, high quality vintage items just came a step closer to DMC’s buyers, who will constantly discover project-defining must-have pieces, ranging from small to very large in scale.”
“We welcome this important expansion and investment by a leading home décor company serving the design community year-round,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The Gypsy Market Place in the World Trade Center will be an amazing destination offering buyers more stylish antiques and reproductions from around the world. It will also motivate customers to visit week by week and during every market to see what’s new.”
For nearly 20 years, Blue Ocean Traders has specialized in wholesale supply of the highest quality vintage, global, one-of-a-kind items, as well as the manufacture of handcrafted interpretations of ageless design. Gypsy Market Place showcases quality architectural salvage, hand-selected vintage goods and hard-to-find antique pieces from around the world.
