Award-winning tableware company Beatriz Ball has announced its continued corporate support for Autism awareness with the release of two new products.
April is Autism Awareness month and Beatriz Ball supports the cause, based on inspiration from Ball's grandson Bo, the youngest of her 13 grandchildren. Bo was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three. The youngest of five children, he lives in New Orleans with his parents, and brings joy and wonder to his family. Bo, now 10 years old, is excelling in school and continues to love being with family and friends and going to any adventure he can – be it one he creates with his toys, a road trip to the beach, or a trip to se Aba in Mexico. This summer Bo will attend a one-week adventure camp in Colorado, for kids on the autism spectrum.
To support this cause that is close to her family, Beatriz Ball is donating 100 percent of the profits from two items created specifically to support the organization Autism Speaks. One is an autism awareness keychain and the other is a holiday ornament. Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy charity and the largest autism research organization in the United States. Autism Speaks promotes advocacy and support to increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism and advancing research into causes and better interventions.
Beatriz Ball is based in New Orleans. The company has showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas.
