ASID Celebrates Design Excellence at Annual Awards

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) 2024 National Awards Program honors outstanding industry contributions.

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) awarded the 2024 recipients of the society’s highest professional recognition, the annual ASID National Awards, at the Diamonds in Denver awards reception during ASID’s conference, Gather: Catalyst 2024, on Tues., Aug. 13, in Denver, CO. 

The program recognizes designers and their transformative work in interior design across three main categories: the Legacy Awards, the Annual Awards and the Focus Awards.

“The ASID National Awards program proudly recognizes interior designers and their role in inspiring innovation and progress throughout our profession,” said Khoi Vo, CEO, ASID. “Through their work — including projects, advocacy and volunteering — each of these winners has exhibited the highest caliber of design excellence through a fierce dedication to interior design. Not only are we thrilled to celebrate their accomplishments, but we are also excited to see their continued influence reflected throughout the design community.”

The Legacy Awards recognize interior designers for their commitment to advancing the industry through their work and careers. The 2024 Legacy Awards winners are:

The Annual Awards celebrate the work and achievements of practitioners with significant design achievements throughout the year honoring educators, students, volunteers, advocates and more. This year’s Annual Awards recipients are:

Student of the Year | Sydney Rens, ASID Student

The Focus Awards spotlight stellar design projects that address different areas of global issues. Addressing either wellness, diversity, community or climate. Projects were selected based on their ability to provide a framework and call to action to advance design in their respective category. Winning projects of the Focus Awards include:
