Ashore has purchased Antlerworx, an antler chandelier and furniture manufacturer. The deal was finalized in September.

The owner of the wrought iron lighting and furniture company, Kash Ashore, says he made this move because his company is trying to capture more of the traditional-rustic category. “Antlerworx really fits into that rustic, ranch, mountain look and as we’re trying to win a larger piece of that market, the acquisition made sense.”

Antlerworx, based in White Oak, TX, uses naturally shed antlers sourced from all over the United States to make its product. Each chandelier is handcrafted, and the company has vast custom capabilities as well.

Kash Ashore says the companies already have some mutual clients — mostly lighting stores and high-end retail furniture — and that he plans to continue to build on that. Current Ashore dealers will get better pricing on Antlerworx products and will have access to a larger number of designs.

Antlerworx will stay a freestanding company but will showcase product in the new Ashore showroom at the Dallas Market, located on the 10th floor of the World Trade Center, this upcoming January. Antlerworx will continue to maintain its own showrooms in High Point, Atlanta and Las Vegas.

“I have every intention of putting both of the companies in the same location at the other markets but we need to find a big enough space, so that will happen down the road,” says Kash Ashore.
