Lighting & Decor is pleased to announce that designer April Force Pardoe of April Force Pardoe Interiors has won the 2017 1st Look at Last Look interior design competition.
"April's description of her project brought it to life," Editor-in-Chief Nicole Davis says. "We're excited to showcase her work in our January issue."
Pardoe's living room photo will be featured in the January issue of the magazine in the Last Look department. This section is the last photo seen before the reader closes the magazine at the end, and it highlights an individual designer's work and gives them the opportunity to explain the design process.
"My clients wanted a cozy family room in their new colonial home in Laurel, MD," Pardoe explained in her original post to the 1st Look at Last Look Facebook event. "The room is 400 square feet with a two-story vaulted ceiling, so we had to do some work to make this large space feel cozy and not cavernous."
The January issue will be sent to Lighting & Decor's 40,000 subscribers. Additionally, copies of the January issue will be available to market goers in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas this January.
