Full-service home furnishings manufacturer AICO has completed construction of a 500,000-square-foot manufacturing warehouse facility equipped with showrooms and management offices, and has moved in within the last few months.  Located in the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park in Binh Duong Province, north of Ho Chi Minh City, recognized as one of the most contemporary commercial parks for Asia Pacific, this state-of-the-art facility was completed in early 2021.  However, due to the pandemic, moving into the facility was delayed until early 2022.

Since opening, the facility has doubled the number of staff and machinery and is close to shipping 50 containers per month.  The operation will continue to expand as this facility has the capacity of shipping up to 500 containers per month.  Additionally, the warehouse is capable of storing 3,000 containers in a climate-controlled environment equipped with 36 automatic shipping and receiving docs with automatic levelers.

The curved 68,000 sq. ft. office portion of this commanding structure features four-stories containing a stylish 34,000 sq. ft. showroom. The top floor is decked out in luxurious accommodations for management and guests.

“This facility is an incredible addition to the AICO manufacturing base,” said Martin Ploy, President of AICO.  “The new warehouse layout, with all the processes in one place will allow for a more seamless operation in the future, increasing our efficiency and control and allowing us to meet the demands of our customers.”

“The investments that we’re making in our company are significant, and we look forward to continuing to develop and grow our offerings at AICO.  Expanding our capabilities with this new facility will give us the ability to accomplish that goal,” said Michael Amini, AICO’s Chief Designer, Chairman and CEO.  “We are very proud of the style and efficiency of this facility, which happens to be one of the most sophisticated and best-looking furniture facilities in South Vietnam, and we are looking forward to continued growth with our business partners.”
