Abbyson has announced a new partnership with powerhouse retailer, The Brick, to sell an exclusive furniture line in their stores. The collaboration is possible thanks to the recent Abbyson infrastructure expansion that doubled manufacturing capacity and allowed dedicated production lines to key strategic partners.
“Abbyson is very proud to partner with The Brick and align strategically in a long-term partnership,” said Rodd Rafieha, Abbyson’s Senior Vice President. “Our goal is to bring our core family values of quality, style, and trends to the Canadian market in a way that has never been done before. Our team is working hand-in-hand with The Brick merchants on developing exclusive and affordable styles that are unique to The Brick consumers.”
The Brick sells furniture, electronics, appliances, and bedding and is Canada’s largest home furniture retailer with more than 220 stores between corporate and franchises. Since December, Abbyson products have been featured in 122 locations, about 90 percent of The Brick’s corporate stores. Eventually each store will have up to 800 square feet of dedicated Abbyson vignettes, said Doug Allen, Senior Director of Merchandising for The Brick.
“As the Brick customers mature, we consistently strive to attract younger customers to our stores,” said Gary Blake, Director of Merchandising for The Brick. “Abbyson understands this and develops fashion-forward styles and colors primarily geared to this customer. In addition, their products are of the highest quality featuring a 2.2-pound density foam, great fabrics and leathers in on-trend colors.”
Current Abbyson products on offer with The Brick include stationary sofas, a sectional, accent chairs and upcoming Power Motion groups. Abbyson and The Brick are excited to keep bringing more innovative styles to grow the partnership.
