Abbyson today announced more than 300 new product introductions for the upcoming fall High Point Market, Oct. 13-17. The company will be featuring 50 new upholstery seating introductions for the Motion line, plus 100 new casegoods including dining, bedroom and accent pieces.
Motion development and innovation has been one important initiative for Abbyson’s design team. The company has not only been looking at the functionality that exists in current models, but also at what can be introduced that is next-generation and forward thinking. The introductions at market are expected to help Abbyson head into 2019 as a leader in the motion category.
Despite current challenges with U.S. and China trade, Abbyson remains extremely focused. The company has spent months preparing for this situation and has laid out a very strategic plan for its partners, essentially mitigating the impact to its retail partners.
“We also already have a plan in place if the percentage jumps up after January 1, 2019, and we will present it to all current and new retail partners at High Point Market,” said Rodd Rafieha, Abbyson’s Senior Vice President. “We feel very confident that our plan will increase momentum with our retail partners as Abbyson continues to grow as a leading industry supplier.”
Even with the current situation, Abbyson plans on presenting Fabric Motion Reclining Sofas with Power Headrests, starting at $699 retail, and Top Grain Motion Reclining Sofas with Power Headrests, at $999 retail.
“Values will remain at Abbyson,” Rafieha continued, “and we want our retail partners to know that they can count on Abbyson to continue driving their business forward.”
