Leading importer and supplier of decorative home decor, garden and floral products A&B Home has team up with designer, author and television personality Libby Langdon on her first line of accessories. Slated to launch this April during High Point Market, the Libby Langdon for A&B Home collection will include everything from decorative bowls, vases, hurricanes, trays, and boxes, to sculpture, spheres and bar accessories.
The initial steps toward this partnership began when Langdon visited her dear friend Dann Foley, who designs for A&B Home, at the showroom during Dallas Market. Taken aback by the breadth of their product offerings as well as their capabilities, Langdon was introduced to A&B Home President Ming Hong, and the conversations started from there.
Langdon is no stranger to the product world; she launched a home furnishings collection of upholstery and casegoods with Fairfield and a collection of wall art with Paragon this past October at High Point Market, in addition to having a rug collection with KAS and lighting with Crystorama. What really attracted Langdon to A&B Home is “the company’s ability to deliver fabulously stylish pieces at a great value,” said Langdon. “This is what my signature “Easy, Elegant, Everyday” style is all about, and the jumping off point for all of the products I design. I couldn’t be more excited about my collection, not only because it rounds out my stylish yet approachable product offerings but also because I feel there is so much synergy in what we are trying to achieve in bringing this collection to market.”
“With Libby’s Easy, Elegant & Everyday Style, she is a perfect fit for the A&B Home brand, which constitutes style, quality and affordability,” said Hong. “We are beyond excited to launch this partnership with Libby and welcome her to the A&B Home family.”
A&B Home’s Dena French adds, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Libby. Her point of view is uniquely hers and we believe it’s a perfect fit for our company. We can’t wait to show the new collection off at High Point.”
A&B Home, whose corporate office is located just outside of Los Angeles in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, has showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, and High Point, where all of the major design markets take place each year. “With all of these locations, they are able to reach so many different buying audiences and are really out there selling their product, which, in turn, gives my products the chance to be successful,” said Langdon. “I am willing to do what it takes to not only design but also market my introductions, so it’s amazing to find a partner who does the same.”
Langdon’s experience as an interior designer is inspiring the collection’s development. To her, accessories are what make a space feel livable, comfortable and full of personality, no matter the design style. Accessories are her “secret weapon” to finishing off a space to perfection, which is why she feels so passionate about this partnership.
