For interior design professionals, YouTube is a great resource for tips, staying up on trends, inspiration or just pure entertainment. Regardless of purpose, it all totally counts as research, right?

Here are eight YouTube channels you need to be following.

High Point Market

While High Point takes place twice a year, this channel uploads regularly throughout the year to keep viewers in the loop on market happenings. The channel offers interviews with designers, brand spotlights, market trend predictions and helpful seminars on topics like wellness and sustainable design.

House & Home

The magazine’s YouTube gives inside looks at cover shoots and showcases makeovers with designers explaining their process. The high-quality videos are mostly shot inside beautiful homes, which are great for project inspiration and also just really nice to look at.

Design Milk

The online magazine covers art, architecture, fashion and furniture and extends that coverage to its YouTube page. The channel’s strength is in its interviews with product designers. You come away with a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship behind each product and what inspires each designer.

The luxury home furnishings manufacturer puts out great interviews with designers like Robin Baron, Shay Geyer and Scot Meacham Wood for its designer series. Moderators including Atlanta-based interior designer Erika Ward, who catches up with designers at markets to chat about what they’re seeing and their own work.

Architectural Digest

You'll find a variety of videos, ranging from inside looks at celebrity homes, interviews with designers and games with people like Nate Berkus and Ryan Korban.

American Society of Interior Designers 

The professional association for interior designers has a more educational video presence, offering seminars on topics like smart homes, health and wellness and business strategy. In their Material Matters series, ASID staff highlight innovative materials from inside the ASID ConneXion library at its headquarters in Washington, D.C.

AmericasMart publishes videos regularly that showcase the many businesses on its campus. Check out this channel for in-depth interviews with showroom staff.

If you love to look at beautiful interiors for inspiration, this is a great channel to watch. You’ll find a mixture of in-depth looks at homes, product spotlights, designer interviews and short home tours.
