Antique, one-of-a-kind and vintage furnishings resource 214 Modern Vintage announced today it will expand its offering for the fall High Point Market, opening Oct. 10, in a new location at 314 W. Russell Ave.
The new 7,000 square foot showroom compares to 4,000 square feet in the company’s original space at 214 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., and will showcase new and returning dealers for unique lighting, furniture, rugs, accessories and art.
Named one of the best resources for antiques and vintage shopping by Garden and Gun magazine two years running, and with its dealers tapped as the ‘New Vintage Vanguard’ by Domino magazine this year, 214 Modern Vintage has earned its place as a prime shopping destination for interior designers during the High Point Market.
Company founder Stephanie Schofield has renovated a former machine shop in downtown High Point to accommodate public and industry buyers. All items are sold cash-and-carry, on a first come, first served basis.
A celebratory launch event for the new space hosted by Chairish is set for Saturday, Oct. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. Market attendees may take the Green Line Shuttle to Stop 7. RSVP at www.eventbrite.com.
